Reasonable steps are taken to identify, manage, and, where practicable, reduce risks to health, safety, and welfare. APEX ED aims to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation and guidance.

Upon completion of all required modules, assessments, assignments, or examinations, and following internal marking and verification by APEX ED, certification by the relevant awarding body may take between one to three months, depending on the awarding body’s processes and verification schedules.

APEX ED uses Stripe as its payment service provider for the secure processing of online payments. Stripe provides a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway and processes payments in accordance with industry-recognised security standards.
Stripe applies a range of security measures, including fraud screening, IP address monitoring, and 3D Secure authentication. All sensitive payment data processed through Stripe is protected using internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.
Stripe is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and is subject to regular security reviews and audits. Stripe is also a member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), which sets global standards for payment card security.
A secure payment session can be identified by the presence of “https://” in the website address and/or a padlock symbol displayed in the browser. These indicators confirm that information transmitted during payment is encrypted.
Where payments are made on a recurring basis, instalments are normally collected monthly unless otherwise agreed in writing. The duration of instalment plans varies depending on the programme of study.
Requests to cancel future recurring payments must be submitted by email to [email protected]. Cancellation of recurring payments does not remove any outstanding financial obligations already incurred under an agreed payment plan.

Once payment has been received and course materials have been made available to the student via the online dashboard or downloaded, refunds are not available after fourteen (14) days from the date of access. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Course materials and access to modules and assessments are provided for a period of five (5) years from the date of enrolment. In exceptional circumstances, this access period may be extended at the discretion of APEX ED.
Assessments may be re-sat as many times as required within the five-year access period, provided all tuition fees and instalment payments have been paid in full.
Failure to maintain agreed monthly payments may result in a £50 administration fee and temporary suspension of access to the online learning platform.
If payments are not made when due, or if payment terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, the outstanding balance may become payable immediately. Students’ credit records may be affected, legal action may be taken to recover outstanding amounts, and students will be responsible for any reasonable recovery costs incurred.
All tuition fees and instalment payments must be fully settled before the release of the final awarding body certificate (digital copy). Printed certificates are produced individually upon request and are subject to a £45 fee.
From time to time, APEX ED may offer scholarships or fee reductions to eligible students. Such awards are subject to specific eligibility criteria, conditions, and availability and apply only to the programme for which they are granted. Scholarships are non-transferable, considered on an individual basis, and apply to tuition fees only unless otherwise stated.
All programme fees are listed and payable in British Pound Sterling (GBP). APEX ED is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or any bank or transaction charges applied by financial institutions or payment providers.

From time to time, APEX ED may offer scholarships to eligible students. Such awards are subject to specific eligibility criteria, conditions, and availability and apply only to the programme or enrolment for which they are granted.

APEX ED reserves the right to withdraw or amend scholarship schemes at any time prior to enrolment.
